Memphis Belle A2 Flight Jacket
Once upon a time Wested Leather Co were commissioned to make the A2 & B3 flying jackets for the films Memphis Belle and Hannover St.
This means this jacket design was once worn by our favourite actor Harrison Ford.
The original A2 jackets made were very tight fitting with extremely thin sleeves, coupled with a thick stiff hide and for the general public they were pretty un-wearable, so we altered the pattern to fit the general masses.
This jacket is technically called the A2-B, it has the design of the A2 but the cut has been altered to a fit you can wear every day rather than the previous uncomfortable fit.
The jacket we produce now is beautiful, the fit is great and best of all its tried and tested.
The standard skin is Brown Cow Hide (pictured) but this particular hide is specially treated to create a soft texture and drape so you can move around easy.

Please remember when ordering a size that the chest is the most important measurement, if you usually take a standard L jacket, you will be a standard size 42 with us also.
This is a blouson jacket with ribbing, this makes the size chart hard to understand.
For example despite a small being a 27" back it will look shorter in wear due to the ribbing pulling the back shorter and creating the look you see in the films.
